Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Sushi X Catering website and the booking of our private sushi chef services. By requesting a quote or booking an event, you agree to these terms.

Our Services

We provide private sushi dinners, sushi catering, and in-home sushi classes on a per-event basis. The chef comes to your home or venue with the ingredients, tools, and equipment needed to prepare sushi on-site. Specific menus, guest counts, and service details are agreed upon at the time of booking.

Quotes & Pricing

Quotes are custom and based on your event details — service type, guest count, menu, and location. A quote is valid for the period stated on it. Pricing is per person and may be subject to a minimum guest count or minimum spend. Any travel considerations for events outside our core service area are confirmed in your quote.

Booking & Deposits

A booking is confirmed only when agreed in writing and any required deposit is received. Deposit and booking terms are confirmed when we send your quote. Until then, dates are not guaranteed and may be offered to other clients.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellation and rescheduling terms, including any refund of a deposit, are confirmed at booking. We understand plans change and will work with you where we can, but last-minute changes may be subject to fees reflecting ingredients ordered and time reserved.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide accurate event details — date, guest count, location, and dietary needs.
• Provide a clean, safe space with adequate counter or table space and seating.
• Inform us in advance of any allergies or dietary restrictions.
• Ensure someone 18 or older is present at the location during the event.

Food Allergies & Dietary Needs

We take allergies seriously and build menus around the information you provide. However, our kitchen handles common allergens, and we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. Guests with severe allergies should inform us in advance and exercise appropriate caution.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sushi X Catering is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the event giving rise to the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are posted here with an updated "Last updated" date.
